Different peoples, with their differing genetic patterns and cultural attainments, have vastly different ideas of beauty. Michelangelo did not produce witch-doctor masks. Chopin did not write "rap" or beat on hollow logs. John William Waterhouse and Jackson Pollock inhabited very different inner worlds.

Today, our people's highest standards are called too "Eurocentric." The continuity of thousands of years is broken. There is chaos.

We need to inculcate a feeling for the highest kind of beauty -- our kind of beauty -- in our children. Ideally, we should have homes and offices and public places filled with fine art: in every direction we turn, we should see something beautiful. When the human body is portrayed, it should be in art that exalts and inspires, and never degrades. -- Kevin Alfred Strom.
